New Iphone holder...
New Iphone holder...
I recently got a new Iphone and there is no place to conviently carry it in the car. I just lay it on the seat. I have a Dashdaq and the nice little mount from Rudy that goes on the corner of the glove box. I was looking at it and thought.... that would be a great position for my phone...
Here is the results of that thought....

Hey, you got a cool interior. Did you repaint the whole aluminium piece? Would be cool if you took a pic of your whole interior. Liked it alot. the colour of your car is extremely nice. thinking of getting a blue SRT myself. especially now when the dollar has weaken to my currency.
Re: New Iphone holder...
James, it is mounted on the mount for my DashDaq. I use 4 thumb screws to hold the DashDaq bracket to the the mount and so just made the same pattern on the back of the phone holder. I can swap in/out either one in a minute or two....
I got the bracket from Rudy with the DashDaq... not sure if it comes with it standard... the bracket gets mounted in the upper left of the glove box using the second screw from the left to hold it...very easy to install/remove too....

Re: New Iphone holder...
You're probably right Mike, those bags are pretty tough.
When my nephew worked at LKQ, the guys that dismanteled the wrecked cars took an ordinary steering wheel air bag and set a 15" steel wheel on top of it, then set it off. The wheel went more than 10' in the air.
I just thought there could be a chance it might tear or rip the bag before it had the chance to fully deploy.
