Solve an argument
Re: Solve an argument
I have not missed a an event since the Texas Mile began in 2004.
www.texasmile.com I have more passes down the track than any driver there over 6 years and twice a year.
In the video you will see me there petting the engine after a 163mph run. then again I have a tune and the limiter reset.

I will do some checking, and see if this is possible...our local executive jet airport is expanding it's runway to 2 miles...this should be enough for people to shut down after the 1 mile run...the taxiways would be available...I don't think they would allow us on the actual runway...any interest here in the midwest?

the company I pull for, has plans for a new corporate hangar, for their helo, and lear...during our 3 day field event held for their customers, I ferried everyone from the airport to the event...and back...our jet and a charter brought in 50 people a day, but 8000 attended field days altogether...

Re: Solve an argument
Forget whether the SRT6 hits 155, 158, 162 or 167.879.... How does it handle and feel at those dangerous speeds? Well planted? Is the steering really light at that speed or does it weight down somewhat. Does the wing add sufficient downforce to keep the wheels tightly planted? That's the information that would be good to disseminate to those not trying to get to those lofty limits.... especially at NIGHT like that one user...... Even in Texas, one armadillo or possum on the road could spell disaster at 100+...... and your headlights wouldn't even illuminate him in time to avoid or stop.... I don't have those kinda *****.
