Jim, I would like to know more about your lower grilles in the last pic.
Looks interesting.

I am not a photography expert at all but (there's the but) I was always told that the object, in this case a car, does not have to sit slap in the middle of the picture.
The picture should be balanced and it should not have telegraph poles and trees sticking out of the car body. The background should not be to busy and if it is it should not be in focus.
If we are honest our own car looks much like the next black, blue or whatever color it is Crossfire. So in the photo the car should be part of a nice photo but not the photo. The car does not have to be clean and shiny, covered in mud tells a story and photos are pictorial stories. Lets use our imaginations and get some interesting pictures. there are many pictures on this forum and a black car in front of the Lincoln Memorial is interesting because of the background not the car, I've seen black cars before. Threads like this one have had some nice photos submitted but more ho hums than we would get with a bit of imagination.
I only have a couple of photos of my car and they were group shots taken at GTG's.
I took six photos of it just after I had just washed and waxed it last year and before the dust was visible. Not one picture came out, the pictures taken before and after were just fine but not that six - all white screens.
I started calling her Christine after that, maybe she's just shy, spooky though.
These photos I found in the gallery, and they were in a post sometime back. I'll find the photographer and name him, a name is in the photo but I want his handle.
These photos have impact, see if you can do better.
