Just bought an Aero Blue SRT-6
Hi All: I am new to this forum, and just bought a low mileage aero blue SRT-6 sight unseen (except for photos that is). I've never owned a Crossfire (but have owned a number of Alfa Romeos). The resources available and the people who participate on this forum are impressive. I'm really looking forward to participating in the forum and getting to know some of you. Once I have picked the car up (it's out of state) I'll post some photos (which will be a couple of weeks from now). I'm planning to do a few light modifications to the car, but nothing too exotic or expensive (I won't be racing it). I'm thinking of starting with billet front grilles (not mesh), Koni shocks, needswings intake, and eliminating the resonator. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any tips or comments. Looking forward very much to joining the Crossfire community. Best regards, Tom Woods (Colorado)

A low mileage roadster would have been even better. Did yours come from Pennsylvania by chance? Seems like low mileage specimens of SRT-6's are pretty hard to find. I also bought the Chrysler Max Care extended warranty. I can't think of a car that's a better value than an SRT-6 if you're looking for a performance vehicle.

Welcome Tom! You are lucky you put a deposit down on that car on the day you did. One day later and it would have been mine! haha
Looks like a beautiful car!
I think a special thing about that car is that it was still under FACTORY WARRANTY for a few more miles, correct?

The in-service date of the car was February 26, 2007, and so the factory warranty expired less than two months ago. The good news is that the extended warranty will be good until February, 2014.

FWIW there's another Aero Blue at Voss Honda in Tipp City. A paint scratch the size of a small booger on the roof near the midline of the driver's side door that doesn't go through all the layers of paint, but nothing else unusual I could see. $15999 and they'll throw in a free Dell netbook.

There is still that one at crazycheapcars.com for $14.2K, but I don't know if I trust the dealer so much...
