BTW satellite, that one in Key Largo looks very nice, and has the right upgrades. NW Intake, C3 SC pulley, and a Tune. The HP and torque both look right for those mods. That would be a 12.2 range car in the quarter with some sticky tires.

If you buy one stock, you will most likely end up with these or similar mods anyway, and they are not cheap. So, with the mods that he has, I do not think that is a bad price for it.
Yeah, I agree, that's essentially what I would put on the car over time as well. Plus it has a warranty 'til 60K miles (for the non-modded parts...haha). Getting more info. from him soon. Probably will also do an inspection on that one. He seems like he knows what he is talking about. Selling the SRT-6 he said to possibly get a GTR....

Wow...lol... I just realized that would be a 26-hour drive...ouch...

Sat...slow down partner, they are out there, you just have to search....I got the deal I wanted and it took a long time...in fact, once I found the one I wanted, 2 more showed up...I used the 3 to get the deal I wanted...when I was all done, all 3 would have taken 15k for them....I liked the blue one, so it won out, the black one had a few dings, which I didn't like, and the 3rd, another black one had a front license plate hole I would have to replace, so I passed...

Yeah, I'm trying not to get too hyped up about it...too late I think . I really prefer the Graphite/Charcoal color with Aero Blue as a 2nd choice. I think I will be most happy if I find the "perfect" car. This Key Largo car is pretty sweet, especially if it already has the mods installed I would be looking to purchase anyway. It's funny, because there is a black one right here in my town, but just like you, I didn't like the dings and some of the slight damage I see on it. Reminds me of my first SRT-6 (I was blind because I was in love with these cars so much). This next car I plan on getting an inspection if it's out of area for me.

Got an inspection on the Key Largo car scheduled for Monday, hoping it's what it seems. If so...EPIC road trip is on!

Unfortunately, I think I ticked off the crazycheapcars guy because I backed out of some agreement he thought we had. He never called me back and thought I was flying down on Saturday to do the whole deal on site. Why knows, might still be a nice car, but I don't want to take any chances with the history of that owner and stories I have heard. Plus...it just seems "too cheap"...doesn't it?

From what I've read about him he probably deserves it.

I do hope the Florida car works out for you though. Got my fingers crossed.

Good luck with the inspection, Satellite. Hope the car is what you're looking for. If it checks out, you'll have a whopper of a drive home. Must be 1,800 miles or more.

Oh yeah...lol...it will be crazy. Thinking of taking the fiance and making a road trip of it (all weekend). I could get it shipped to Omaha for about $700, but seem like it would just take all the fun out of it... . Eh, we will see.

NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a used car without doing this:

AutoCheck Vehicle History Reports Homepage - A Part of Experian.

It is MUCH MUCH more detailed and accurate than a carfax. It even gets down to all prior insurance claims. Way better than Carfax...

Interestingly enough, on the most recent car I'm researching...the AutoCheck didn't pick up on the Cars.com ad. CarFax found it on Cars.com and added it so that the miles were updated.
