Try putting in the search for supercharger noise. I saw some threads there concerning the bearing.

The bearings need to be pressed in. If you do not have a bearing press, it would probably be better to take it to a local shop to have done.

That looks like the instructions for installing a C3 pulley. Unless I missed something, there is nothing in there about pressing new bearings into a pulley.

Be careful when pressing the bearing in or out. Do to circumstances outside of my control, I have lost use of my C3 pulley. I must now find a replacement pulley, for this stocker is just not gonna cut it.

I am not understanding why you are bumping this. I have already said that you need to press the bearings in. If you do not have a press, you would be better off taking it somewhere to have it pressed in for you. Are you hoping for an answer that is more to your liking? I would not think that a shop would charge you much to just press a bearing.

sorry I looked right over your post somehow, I'm a fire training this week and must have been a little dehydrated or at least that's my excuse for looking over your answer. thanks for that info, and just to be clear that bearing is on the supercharger pully? I was assuming that it was a bearing inside the supercharger

LOL, I know the feeling. Eyes looking at it, the brain somewhere else. Yep, bearing inside the pulley. Good luck with it.

The machine shop near me charges me $10 to do it. It's a lot better than the $1100 MB wants to charge me...
