It is hosted in CA. Any CA members interested to look into kicking another forums butt?

“We thought it would be great to go beyond the smack talk between forums and see what happened when the talk was put to the test in real world racing,” said Royal Purple Motorsports Marketing Coordinator Patrick Burris. Ten track burning episodes of head-to-head competition can be seen on The Forum Wars presented by Royal Purple beginning April 5 on www.theforumwars.tv

The Forum Wars was set into motion last fall with a call for participants posted on various automotive enthusiast forums. Selected cars had to be street legal, running DOT approved tires, and their drivers had to have previous track experience. Filming took place at the Irwindale Speedway in California on the facility’s road course and 1/8-mile drag strip.

The match-ups include:

2009 Dodge Challenger X SRT8 vs. 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS
2003 Nissan 350Z vs. 2008 Ford Mustang Shelby GT
2009 Cadillac CTS-V vs. Dodge Viper SRT10
Mitsubishi EVO X vs. Subaru WRX STI
1967 Ford Mustang Fastback vs. 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Starting April 5, visit www.theforumwars.tvhttp://www.theforumwars.tv each week for an exciting new episode of Royal Purple’s The Forum Wars and watch for teasers on the SPEED channel. .

Theres only one problem with that, we can't break out of the 12.2 1/4 bracket. We'd get embarrassed for sure lol. Unless someone here is willing to strap on a 300+ shot of nitrous for the win.

Disclaimer: That will be your first and LAST shot of nitrous with that same engine.

You did see those were 1/8 mile times right?

a 9 sec 1/8 would be approximately a mid 13 sec 1/4 (at best)

I wonder how many episodes they will make before they start getting the trash talking Honda forums on the show. Acording to them their "kill" stories are very impressive. Lets see some honda owners proving what they claim to be true!
