im glad to see your making progress. i do wonder if the pulley is what is holding you back. its obvious you have just about everything needswings can bolt on your including the tune, but your times are a full .1 behind others running a simple c3 with intakes and tunes.
maybe you can try someones c3 and see if you but those times open?
i hope you get it all figured out!!

It has to be the pulley slipping or the tune. Your MPH is too low for all those mods, I run 113 all day with fewer mods and no meth. If you are not seeing your boost bleed off at the top of 3rd, the it has to be the tune. If your boost falls off, then it is the pulley slipping or the belt slipping.

Just my .02

the tunes appear to be quite similar. the inmotion is a tad faster but the e/c tune was run in 40* weather really to cold for the track to build any heat. still the times were very close.

The tune is right on and the boost is solid. In colder weather I usually hit 21 to 22psi of boost fri was running 19 with small spikes to 20. I am still running a little lean. I am continueing to dial in my fp under boost. I am working with 3 parameters to control my fp AFR Trigger, starting pressure, and how much pressure to send to my fuel pressure regulator to boost the fp. It is coming together it is just a slow process. I will be in the 11's if it does not get to hot to quick here.

Ideally you want to be between 12.0 and 12.5

You need to work on your 60' times.

There is more to this than his 60' times.

Below is just a random slip of mine while running a 12.2X. This is with just a single needswing, code 3 pulley and LET Tune. I have a 1.9 60' but still pull a 12.2 . My MPH is always 113-114. I am guessing he is still leaning out in 3rd and timing is being pulled at the end of the track.

Hey Scott....... You need to work on your 60' times. LOL

I agree though. I usually have between 1.76 and 1.8 60' times and trap 114mph with 12.2x

LOL Bob...

Here is another interesting timeslip. I am in the right lane still with the Needswings Single, Code3 Pulley and LET Tune. In the left lane is SRT6 Gangmember SL 55 Intake, 181 Pulley and LET Tune. (Note that I am on Nitto Drag radials and SRT6 Gangmember was on Toyo Proxies hence my lower 60’). No excuse for Nelson leaving me at the tree....

My point is, with far fewer mods, these cars are running the same time as X-Rays. Where is the extra HP from the dual needswings, intake mani, cutouts???

Alright Scott, that is a more respectable 60'. LOL Once again, I agree. I have the exact same setup as Scott.... Single NW, Code3, and LET tune. Even if each of the additional mods just added marginal HP/torque gains to XRay, I would think the sum of all of the mods would translate into a much better ET and 1/4 time than what we are running. I am not running any cooling mods or anything else. Oh, and my roadster is heavier.

As I have said in a previous post I am still dialing in my FP. On Sat while going thru all of my logs for fri I came to a realization that my trigger set up was causing me to be extremly rich off the line I am talking 10.0 afr. I have now added another trigger parameter to prevent this from happening. I expect to see very good times this wed. If this was easy everyone would be doing it and it would not be any fun.

I hope you did not take my post in the wrong way. I am rooting for you XRay, and want you to get all you can out of that beast. I am sure you will get it there. Good luck with Wednesday.

As am I! I would love to see Xray solve this mystery. Here we are two years later and still 95% of modded SRT6 are stuck in the low 12s. I have never seen anything like this, no matter what mods you buy or how much you spend in time or money….12.2X is your 1/4 time.

I hope he gets this sorted out.. I have been waiting to buy new mods for someone to SHOW me they are worth the money. I do not currently have meth on my car, although I liked the result of it, I do not feel comfortable spraying it or N20 through the supercharger so I am also stuck at the magical 12.21 mark as well!

Best of luck on Wednesday…we are all pulling for you!!!

This just goes to prove the variability between cars.... I have the same 4 basic power mods (181mm pulley, LET tune, NW Dual CAI, 240 mod'ed mani's) and DR's and am hitting 12.0 - 11.96 @ 113.9mph...

I do get to do my racing on a great track at 160' elevation....

I did not take it the wrong way I just wanted to make sure everyone understood that at this point the mods are doing there job but it is a matter of getting the fuel delivery system set to keep up with everything else. I know that if the DA had been negative instead of 800 Plus I would have been really close to that magick 11.

XRay, do you plan on getting dyno'd with your new tune? It would be interesting if you have access to a DynoJet to see what the HP and torque differences are between the 2 tunes.

I have not checked to see if anyone around hear has a dynojet. I will consider doing it once everything finishes coming together.
