i cant seem to find the proper part # for the intake air sensor thats in the air distributor (y pipe). the 1 i find says its for a c320.
anyone have the number? also does it have to be pressed in? or is the sensor the plastic part?

This was the original part number 5080343AA was superseded by part number 4862635AA. It's all one one piece.

That's a good price compared to the MSRP $42.44 from Chrysler.

I do realize this is an old thread, but I needed a new IAT and used this thread to find the number. Unfortunately I did end up going with the Chrysler part# because I TOO never could find a GOOD Mercedes #... And of course, the Chrysler # gets you the same part, but a much higher price... Best I could find was $39.00 online.

I received the part today and found it still in the Mercedes box, and the original part # still visible. So for anyone who needs this part, save yourself the headache, time AND MONEY, what you need is a Mercedes:

0005422818

Readily available under $20..
