when you face the steering wheel about 8 inches underneath on your left, there is a cover on it you just have to look good for it.

ok this morning I get out and get coffee.....I start the car and accidently turn the key to far back left and cut car back off. Thinking I could catch it before it turns back off I turn key to on position but not trying to crank it. I restart car...it cranks perfectly but the engine light is on. I get out make sure the gas cap is tight. Drive to work.....shut car off and retry to see if it will clear no luck. I guess I will wait allday and hopefully it will not come on. I havent noticed any probs with it...well I did hear a roaring sound yesterday like a wheel bearing.

One of the neat things about the XF is that you turn the key right to start and just release...it will keep cranking until it starts. You don't have to hold the key or "turn it back left". It's magic!

I didn't know about the coin holder for a couple of months.

That thing where you turn it and let go will mess you up. Every time I get in another car I turn it and let go, and none of them will start.
