Default New addition!

I'm fortunate to say that I picked-up JFreed's very pristine SRT6 coupe. With Beaner's help I flew from Buffalo to Tampa on the 22nd and crossed the boarder on the 25th just before the heavy snow hit, thankfully. On my way home I quickly found out wet asphalt in 22 F temps and PS2's don't mix well! Pompano Beach to Lewiston Bridge, NY took me 30 hours stopping only for gas. This trip typically takes me 22 hours, so needless to say it's not one I'd soon repeat. I picked up the car with just under 4500 miles on it and it now has 6300 and I have a permanent grin. The only thing it needs for our RIV program to make it legal in Canada is DRL's and thanks to Beaner (yes again!) it now has 'em. Beaner stopped by today and we swapped headlamp switch modules. Not too difficult a task for Beaner, he'd be a millionaire on flat rate whereas I on the other hand would be in the soup line! Next stop is Crappy Tire so I can get my RIV check completed . Now I really can't wait for Spring!

Sounds like a long ride! At least you got to know the car. Congratulations on the SRT.

Thanks guys! My butt says the SRT suspension is better suited for those smooth southern highways and not the frost wedged northern "loggin' roads" like the I-79 and I-90!

You drove 30 hours straight only stopping for gas? Wow!

Congrats on the new purchase! Sounds like you got a good deal.

Congrats on the new SRT-6. Sounds like you got a real nice one.
Hope you enjoy it every bit as much as the rest of us. Good luck
on those roads up there. Could be bad for the kidneys...

Bluecoupe, congrats on the SSB that is just broken in. You may want to consider the koni adjustable shocks. Much better rebound rate and a mediun setting smoothes out the roads. Crank them back down when you are ready to rip. Rob at Needswings can fix you up. Enjoy!

I think its a bit weird to own an SRT-6 and still use horse and buggy dial-up?
Maybe I am a bit jealous though, I miss those good old days when no one could phone and interrupt you when you were on line.

Are you still going to talk to us peasants now that you have gone over to the dark side of the forum?

No smilies were harmed, abused or misused in the creation of this thread.

Of course I'll still talk to you Dave and dial-up ain't so bad now that everyone has moved to high speed. Gary, I'm not sure which one I'll bring to the Dragon, but since I just spent 30 hours abusing my kidneys, I'm leaning towards the Limited! Tighed1 thanks for the welcome and Doc, had I been quicker on the draw, that pretty Aero Blue would be sittin' in my garage and not your barn!
