Moving more air with a header only occurs if the original manifold was a restriction to the exhaust flow, some stock manifolds are hard to beat unless you are modified well above stock flow requirements. There are many $400 headers out there that are no better then the stock manifold other then being lighter and blowing gaskets more often. IMO, for $1100, the company should prove these are better then stock. If not dyno results, why not post the bench flow testing results compaired to a new clean stock manifold. I don't think that is asking too much.
meth or n20 has beat it by more than .2 or .3 during the summer so it seems to me folks are wasting a lot of money and getting no where as those .2 or .3 are probably weather/altitude related anyway, if you look at the few in 11's it was done in cool/cold weather. If you want to race every weekend hardcore add a supercooler and a new ic pump & maybe some rear tires and call it a day. This car has too many computer limiting factors to let it go much faster without major money/mods. I have said this for three years with only objections from the know it all's, but I think the light may be shining through...the car is a 11.95-12.10 car with bolt ons and thats it. I have the luxury of owning multiple shops and spending time and money most would think was silly,thats why I was able to put down some of the numbers that I did. If your not ready to spend over 6K-10K stick with the above mods and wait for track proven results before buying into a pipe dream. Sorry for such a long post.

MD SRT6 I CAN AGREE WITH YOUR ANALOGY OF THE CROSSFIRE. THE MODS THAT ARE DONE ON THIS FORUM EXCLUDING A DYNO TUNE CAN BE ACOMPLISHED WITH BASIC MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE.
FACT IS I’M NOT DISAGREEING AT ALL. THE PERFORMANCE VENDERS ARE SMALL GUYS AND THE REAL PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING. CAR GUYS WILL DO MOST OF THE R&D ON THE TRACK. IN THE EARLY DAYS I MADE A FEW SETS OF HEADERS. NO TWO EVER CAME OUT THE SAME BUILT THEM ON THE CARS. DYNO’S WERE RARE. WE TESTED ON SUNDAY. I WILL ADMIT. THAT YOU’RE TOW CAR IS AS FAST AS MY FIRST RACE CARS. BUT TO MAKE JIGS AND BANG OUT THESE HEADERS IS A LOT OF WORK. AND IT’S THE KIND OF MOD THE AVERAGE SHADE TREE GUY CAN HANDLE.
