Used to belong to j-fire.

He sold, and moved onto something else. Wheels were sold and replaced with some gaudy M-Benz rims, and the car was sold to a dealership in the Chicago area.

I can understand that, but what you need to look at is one that is done correctly, ie: black

J-Fire like everyone stated. I rather loved it.. he took everything off & sold it here on the forum.

He ran into some life problems as well, hope he is doing ok..

That one looks decent. I guess I am just not of fan of "mesh" style grilles.

Not a bad looking Corvair in the outside lane. That brought back some memories from my childhood.

Then you need to come up to Detroit in August for the Woodward cruise. I guarantee you'll have memories come back!

The "mini van grill" may not be the greatest but at least it doesn't look like a "Junior High Metal Shop Project".
It would be so much better if it wasn't surrounded by the flat sheet metal edge. This is why customs take so much time and are far fewer than cheesy slap on "bolt on" projects.
Just being honest.

Just so happens my very first car, 39 years ago was a Red 1964 Corvair Spider.
White bucket seats 4 on the floor Turbo Charged boxer 6.
"The most rare and collectable of the Corvair line."
Why is it 40 years ago Amercan auto makers could make an economy car with some Pazazz?
I paid 50 bucks for that car and it was in fantastic condition. Even though I got a good deal even for those days do you think I could have made a profit if I had kept it?
Actually ran it so hard that when I lost my clutch I was also in serious need of rings.
Still say it had some of the classiest upholstery I have ever had.
Sold it for $38.00 when I was a sophomore in high school to buy a '65 Mustang.
