Have to go the engine hot then checked? if you jack the car up and get the engine hot I would think it would be fairly easy to spot wipe everything down with a rag first, the coolant will leak out alot faster when its hot and theres pressure in the system.

you might have an intercooler issue. the second time i had the i/c issue, coolant would go low with no signs of a leak.

Are you sure it's coolant? I thought I had a similar leak, but it turned out to be rainwater from the car being left outside. The rain collected on the bottom engine cover, and eventually dripped onto the ground. I took off the engine cover, and clear water poured on the ground. Keeping the car in the garage at night has eliminated the problem. :-)

I've also seen oil leak from the filter area and puddle down there. Saw it on Jake80's a while back. Turned out the oil filter was loose.

Talking Re: Coolant Leak

Here we go with the old school thing.

Stick you finger into the fluid.

Touch another finger with that one.

Take the second finger and touch your tongue.

Does it taste sweet?? Thats antifreeze.

Cant find it, get some UV dye and do a search in the evening / dark.

Woody BTW ATF does not taste, new oil same thing.

BTW BTW battery acid is very tart, which is why u touch one hand to the other to reduce dosage.........
