No need to explain that- apparently my point was over your head.
I didn't realize you had a point, other than bitching about an SLK32 guy posting on this forum. If you think that Steve is the only active SLK guy posting on here then maybe you should be talked to like a newb. There are numerous SLK guys that post on here daily. But evidently you have your panties in a wad about it for some reason. Also, while I am talking to you like a newb, many of us post in the MB forums for different reasons, and mostly to find parts for our Crossfires. So, I guess in your mind, it would be inappropriate for us to post a group buy in a MB forum. For your information, 32Krazy! was the one that initiated and organized the group buy for the Eurogharged tune in Atlanta. As an SLK guy, he pulled many MB and Crossfire owners together for a very successful and fun event. Ohhh.... and 30% of the people that showed up in Atlanta are SLK owners that are regulars on here. If you have a point, then just come out and say it.

EDIT: Steve, I read your post after I had posted this. You are right, and for those in the know, we appreciate everything that you do for this forum and its members.

Yes I think it would be out of place to go to an SLK32 forum to post about a group buy on an SRT6 bumper cover. Despite thinking it's out of place and/or OT, as I wrote before I'm not angry or my "panties in a bunch"...very mature btw.

You old-heads are grumpy- must be a generational difference.

damn, me too... but saying it that way makes me feel older than I am.

good lukc with the group buy. I'd love to see it happen, and heck maybe even by some slim chance in hell...it would be less work to modify it to fit the SRT6 than the root side skirts. haha.

good luck with it, and i can't wait to see a finished product.

Wow now you are making even ME feel old. lol

It's a double-edged sword on both ends of the age spectrum. On my old Mazda forums (when I owned a MS3) most of the members were young, hoodlum, punks. I appreciate the average older age of the members here but some of the grumpiness extrudes.

Sorry, I'm confused.

You're the only one in this thread that seems to be "exuding" grumpiness....

I am not grumpy, but you are starting to **** me off. Come up with whatever excuse you want to, but trying to alienate a member... especially a member that is one of the good guys that does more to help out Crossfire owners than most on here, is not in the spirit of this forum. If you think it is being grumpy to call someone out that is an alienator instead of a positive influence, then call me grumpy.

I am done with this thread. Say what you want, I am just fed up with people wanting to bash others that are trying to help on this site.

Steve, I apologize for this thread becoming hijacked over this. Good luck, and don't let people like this dissuade you from continuing to be a positive influence here.
