bah humbug! I grew up on a farm whereby my parents put out over 60,000 lights, the fence rows, trees, (we had a lot of them), barns, house, many yard ornaments, the old kind, not these new wire things....inside the house was decorated as well. Heck, you couldn't turn on a light in the house without blowing a fuse, although the whole house was lit up by all the lights outside. As a kid, I couldn't even get near the house just go home, there were so many people lined up on the road. I hate Xmas lights...lol

You got me! :-) I was editing my thread, maybe you sneaked in while I was doing it. Actually I love Christmas and all the things that go with it! Loved going looking at lights when I was a kid and helping my dad put the lights up! My wife said I never grew up! Maybe not. Especially at Christmas! Hey! How else is Santa gonna find my house without lights?

Since this time of year we all up there on the house trying to cash in on our insurance policies putting up the Christmas lights,why not show off our endevors? Lets all post a pic of the ol homestead lit up and put the ol Xfire in front of it! Think it would be neat. Maybe motivate a little creativity
