Default Bagged a Z-28

I ran out to the store with the wife tonight, and took the XF. First time I have driven it in about a week. Anyway, I was on the way home when I saw a 98ish Camero Z-28 pulling out from a side street. I noticed in my rear view that he was closing fast on me. I was on a 4 lane, but was coming up on my left hand turn off to a 2 lane road. I thought he was going to go straight. As I got into the turn lane, he pulled in behind me. The light was green, but still had oncoming traffic. I had a feeling that he was going to try to run me, so I turned TC off and dropped into 1st. Just as the light was turning yellow, I made the left hand turn. The Camero was right on my tail. As we cleared the intersection, he jumps into the oncoming lane to pass me. I was ready as he got beside me, and I stomped it hard. As I was already rolling, I got a quick bark out of the tires, then pure acceleration. Needless to say, the Camero's headlights quickly got smaller and dimmer. I don't know what was funnier.... me launching on him as he got beside me in the oncoming lane, or my wife talking to the Lord at 110 decibels. haha! I let off at 130, and just as my wife was finishing her conversation with you know who... haha. I saw the Camero's headlights getting brighter. I let him get up to my rear bumper, then I went WOT again. Well, long story short.... I left him again, and my wife resumed her 110 db conversation. Now my wife is a good Catholic, but I think she can take this Sunday off as I believe she has worshiped enough for one week.

Good story, but I've never heard of a Camero?! I do know about Camaros though.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Nice kill story. My wife threatens to divorce me every time I get adventurous in the SRT.

I may not know the difference between a Camero and a Camaro, but at least I do know the difference between brakes and breaks. lol Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Well, I think I heard something like... "Oh Lord, I'm gonna dieeeeee" in her conversation somewhere, but I can't be certain. I was a little busy at the time..... Watching the road, tach, and rearview. And, the kid in me never left .
