Default Feeler-LET/Eurocharged Custom Tune-SF Bay Area

Hey All,

I got word that it's possible for the good folks at LET/Eurocharged to come to the SF Bay area for another custom tune day here in the SF Bay Area.

Anyone interested?

They'll be willing to come here if they can signup at least 5 New Tunes and they have a total capacity normally of 10 people.

Come meet, talk and hang out with a bunch of cool guys. Trust me, I was there last time and even though it was 95-100 degrees out, it was still cool hanging with everyone. And the only other thing I can tell you is that Jerry, Tony and Jake are stand up guys. They will not dodge your calls and always take care of you. Well, besides making your car fast as hell!

Good to see them making it out to the SF Area. I know they are going to be in LA at the end of November, but that is definately not very close to SF.

Hope you can get what you need between mbworld and this forum... I know Tony and Jerry always love taking weekend trips. Apparently they had a blast when they went to Houston a few weeks ago...

good luck with this...

Well, at least they are on the correct side of the country. Maybe I could get enough guys in Portland area to swing a tuning session next spring. (after I get my porting and polishing done)

Good luck guys. Have LOTS of fun.

Heck yeah! I'd be interested in what you wizards do. Drop me a line on when you are this way and I'll see if I can't make time to come by.

From another thread, this quote is from Eurocharged:

"We would need a min of 5 new customers at $600.00 for the C32 customers
$800.00 for V8 5.5 Supercharged and $1500.00 for V12TT

now if we get 6-10 people there will be a discount of 10%

plus dyno fees and custom tuning (extra cost)

Hey,

Not sure yet, first we have to sign up enough people and then we can finalize dates. As of now there's only two new tunes, so I dunno if we can really make this happen.

Sorry I don't have more info.

This is from the main thread by Tony of Eurocharged:

"Ok guys this is looking very good, thanks very much gramma benz for getting this going for us, for those of you that have signed up which days will best fit your schedules? Dec. 19th as I have dates for the 5th in LA and the 12th in ATL so if not then we will need to push it till after the first of the year Jan 9th would be the next available date so please let me know so I can set up a dyno shop in the area and get the ball rolling.

-Tony"

Hey guys, is a tune usefull with a stock setup?
I don't yet have a CAI or pulley or anything
else and don't know if I'll have them by
the time the tune happens.

Hello,

Yes you would gain 20 - 25+hp and 25 - 30+tq at the wheels much more spirited driving and better gas mileage.

Aaaaaaand, if you get your mods later, I believe you can get stock re-tunes for free.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

In other words, this time you will strap onto a dyno and dyno tune your car. They do however, have different tunes depending on your mods that they can reflash your ECU to if you add other mods on later. They're still very good, but a dyno tune is always optimal.

Last time I got dyno tuned, they only had to make a slight adjustment to my tune as I was running a little lean under high loads. Otherwise, my stock tune was pretty right on the money.

for clarity's sake, I believe if you go from a stock tune (no mods) to a tune that must take modifications into account that it is a $100 upgrade for moving from a Stage I to a Stage II tune.

HOWEVER, if you have any modifications and get a tune, re-tuning to account for more modifications would be free (unless you are dyno-tuning where there are dyno costs)
