Must have a zillion miles on it. No mention of the odo reading.

Or maybe that crook in London has a brother over here.

Either they forgot the "1" or it's another Craigslist scam. Or they are hard up for money.

I'm thinking I have seen that picture before. No way someone would be selling their SRT for that price unless it was a Salvage Title. I bet you though this is a scam.

Guys it's a scam. That's a forum member's car. Unless the 1 is missing. He posted pics not too long ago.

I'm guessing scam as well. A buddy of mine was looking at a Caddy CTS-V just last week...only wnated $13k for one with only 16k miles....I had him insist on getting VIN....once we got it I googled it and found it was for sale at a dealership in Pompano Beach....we called them and sure enough they still had it on their lot for $29k....not in New York as the seller indicated.

Here's the response I got from them in a email. Hi,

Thank you for your interest in my car. This is a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6.Body type: Coupe
Exterior color:Gray,Engine: 6 Cylinder 3.2 Liter,Transmission:Automatic,Fuel type:Gasoline,Interior color:Black,Drivetrain: Rear wheel drive. All power equipment on this vehicle is in working order. This vehicle has no known defects - it is super. This vehicle's exterior is very clean..This vehicle shifts like a vehicle was meant to shift, smooth.Standard equipment:Power Windows,Air Conditioning,AM/FM Radio,CD,Power Steering,Cruise Control,Power Door Locks,Dual Zone Air Conditioning,Rear Spoiler,Leather.
VIN: 1C3AN69L14X009507
Mileage:63,005
Here you can find more pictures of the car:Pictures by chrysler322 - Photobucket

(if the above link does not work copy and paste it into a new web browser window).

The car has been well taken care of, always kept in the garage.Flawless exterior/interior condition,no scratches and no dents. It has never been involved in an accident. The engine starts and drives like new and the paint looks great. It comes with US clear title which will be signed and notorized in the buyer's name.Have original manuals and all keys.

I'm an US Air Force Sgt. currently stationed in Alaska. The car is here with me.The car is for sale locally as well, but there are slim chances of this to happen. In order to be able to register this car here in Alaska the buyer would have to pay very high taxes that will double the price.

The price is $9,900.00 including shipping from Alaska and delivery to your home address. So if you decide to buy this car or need further information please get back to me as soon as possible.

Thank you
Sgt. Edward Bakee

Check this out

2004 Chrysler Crossfire for Sale in Phoenix, Arizona - Buy this Car for N/A! - Classified Ads at Automotive.com

Then click on the small 'Carfax Vehicle History Report' link see the VIN number listed for it?

This car is in Phoenix and is not an SRT-6....

Saw this thread, and as I was looking at parts listing on a Website for my Jeep, and
noticed that it provided parts for all Chyrsler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles. So I browsed for
the Crossfire, and found the following info regarding pricing for motors. Just thought
I'd share when I saw your thread... Not saying I've ever dealt with them. I haven't. But
the prices are very interesting...

The website is: Chrysler Parts Center.com

Description Year MSRP Price Core Price Your Price
Short block, crossfire, w/o supercharger - 3.2l - 3.2L
05-08 $3,995.00 $2,634.50 Includes: Cylinder Block, Piston & Rings, Crankshaft, Main Bearings, Connecting Rods & Connecting Rod Bearings.

Short block, crossfire, w/supercharger - 3.2l - 3.2L
2005 $11,585.00 $7,645.00 Includes: Cylinder Block, Piston & Rings, Crankshaft, Main Bearings, Connecting Rods & Connecting Rod Bearings.

Did you read it as they are wanting to sell the engine only?
I did at first, but I think it is meant to be:
2005 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6(semi colon) Engine: 6 Cylinder 3.2 Liter - $9900 (Lombard)
meaning that the engine in the crossfire is a 6 cylnder 3.2 liter, selling the entire car, not just the engine.

Interesting that the actual SRT 6 owner is currently selling his SRT. Here is the link.

https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/private-cars-sale/37830-srt6-w-4k-miles.html

He said that he took it off the market. then someone made him and offer that is pending. Could be that someone is trying to scam him.

It is a scam. This is my car, which was for sale about 3 weeks ago. They not only put my car in the ad they took all the pics from my ad as well.
Now I need to delete them.
