Resonator Question and pulley/intake noise question
Resonator Question and pulley/intake noise question
Hey all,
I see everyone gets the res delete mod done for sound and the impression is that it does not provide power. However I'm not seeing anyone with big numbers that still have the resonator. I want to keep it on...I love the stealthy silence (much different than my old 98 Cobra 'vert with full exhaust, which I did like a lot).
Does anyone know if the resonator truly does not cause any restrictions? I'd hate to miss out of power if it does casue a restriction.
Also, anyone with intake...I'm getting a Eurocharged one put on tomorrow along with pulleys (178 or 185)...any sounds difference between teh 178 or 185 for those of you with an intake. I'll also be getting pump, H/E and tune, but am curious about the supercharger whine between these two pulley options. I know I'll get more whine with the intake unfortauntely....but will it be much louder with the 185 verse the 178?
thanks all

Re: Resonator Question and pulley/intake noise question
The resonator is huge! Looking at it I don't see that it would be too restrictive cuz it's sooo big. Don't discount the weight savings cuz it's heavy!
As far as difference in sound between the two pulleys I don't think that you will notice the difference. The new sound that you will be hearing will be from the intake.
Now go FAST!
