Default Selling my SRT6...modded or stock?

As a few of you guys know, I have been on the fence about selling my one of my SRT6's for some time. My question is do you think I would have a better chance attracting a buyer with the car in its current state with aftermarket wheels, pulley, tune, intake, gauges and such or should I remove everything and turn it back to 100% stock condition and sell the aftermarket parts separately?
I know you do not get any $$ for the parts on the car if you trade it in, but with so many SRT6’s for sale, I am thinking that I need something special to stand out from all the others.
What do you guys and gals think?
Who wants to buy some aftermarket goodies??

I think you would be better off putting her back to stock. You will never recover the money you spent on mods if you sell the car with them, unless you get someone here that can appreciate what you've done, and pay you for the mods.

Sell the mods separately would be my guess.

buyers (especially dealers) usually like when it's stock, because some would be wary with all the goodies that you beat up on it.

If you decide to take off the parts, can I get dibs on your LET heat exchanger (I lost mine due to a fender bender a few months ago)

I agree that if you are going to purchase a new car...it's probably better to take it in to the dealer stock...

can i call dibs on your gauges/pod...ooo, and maybe your fiberglass sub enclosure too haha.

good luck with everything...either way.

Your car is much more valuable stock. Remove all the goodies and give them to me.

I say put it back to stock.

Is there anything left that hasn't been "taken" already?
Dibbs!

You guys will be the first to know when these parts get pulled off. I drove a BMW M5 today at lunch….nothing quite like that V10 and SMG transmission. It felt so strange, almost disconnected. I am going to drive the Lexus ISF after work…..we will see how it goes.

That's a real tough question. I think the market will be bigger for a stock SRT-6 than modified. If you could find the right person that knows it's almost impossible to hurt the motor then you could get more modded. But who knows where that person is and he probably already has one of his own. Good luck either way and I too would be interested in a few of the aftermarket pieces if it comes down to that.

try the 135i...its bigger than the crossfire, but still a coupe (w/ a backseat)...maybe a nice transition out of the crossfire... and capable of a lot of HP. I think Jerry's (from Eurocharged/LET) has his 135i at right about 380rwhp on stock turbos.

most people want to mod their own car their own way, now if someone doesn't know how to change their oil, then they would want the mod to stay,, as long as you agree to fix anything that goes wrong. don't forget the money you get for your car modded is going to be the same money you will get stock, now for that info i would like the H. E. jim

Well there comes a time to move on and I think I am there. Having owned a Crossfire for the past 4 ˝ years, I just seem to lack the “perma Grin” I once had.

Well, it looks like from the response, you can get all of your performance mods sold in a blink of an eye. I did not notice anyone asking for the Code3 pulley yet. I would like first dibs on that if possible. Wow, it does seem a shame to dismantle what must have been a labor of love for you. I hope your next ride gives you much enjoyment.

You boys are making this too easy .I will put something together tonight as far as a "price list" for all my mods and post it to this thread. I will give first notice to those who have posted on here interest in the specific part.

Now I need to get back to work to pay for a new car.....

Take a page from J-Fire's book, he had a fantastic looking heavily modified SRT and ended up having to part with most of the goodies by themselves to make anywhere near what he was looking for. I would leave some of the aesthetic bits to 'make it stand out' as you said, but the performance goodies will give someone the wrong idea, mechanically - take it stock.
