Default Made a few 1/8 mile runs yesterday

Gave me a chance to practice my launches on street tires, ignore the reaction times.

It was nice being able to get out to the track for a change and not get rained out. I just wish it was a 1/4 mile track but I had a lot of fun.

I am car TM1 on all slips. On the 2nd slip with my worst 60' i tried to launch a little harder but spun really bad and had to let completely off the gas to get it straight again which really screwed up my run.

Nice times and traps.........your car is right on par with mine at the 1/8 mark. Here's my 1/8th info on my best run(yesterday) .................

7.811 @ 90.07mph which netted a 12.10@115.17mph

I wish I could pull off 60' times like that! For some reason, my SLK on street tires is 2.0-2.4 , Which has a serious affect on 1/4 mile times. I dyno'ed at 323 RWHP and still only managed a best of 13.08 @ 107 due to my horrible 60'...

It is fun though!

Big difference is that he was probably running in 4000 plus DA. Ouch that smokes me too. I lost 1st rd today by breaking out. I ran in the 1/8th 8.039 at 87.29 for an ET of 12.496@111.20mph. Unfortunately I dialed a 12.58. My DA was 3900' this morning, but only managed a 12.43 yesterday in 3150'DA.

Those are great 60's with any tires.

Your MPH is pretty good for the 1/8. If you can get that 60ft down into the 1.7's you'll be right there.

That very well could have been a sub 11.7 pass. Time for you to come down to az.

That or get a tune that doesn't lean out after the 1/8th.

Sorry not gonna allow that. Then you'll be faster than me. Plus you'll have it on HD video with sound effects to boot.

I don't know I'd be happy for an 11.9 @ 115-117. Only need to pick up 2/10ths in ET and 2-5 mph..... lol "only". Easier said than done.
