By proportionate size you mean relative to each other and not the actual size right??? I did not think the 2006 badge was THAT big. haha.

Yes, the 2005 is 3 5/8" x 1/2" and the 2006 is 5 7/8" x 3/4".

 

Definitely the 2006, IMO. I have the sticker badges from SRT SIX on the fenders... just looking for a good deal to trade my rear 2005 for a 2006. The metal badges are a bit high-priced.

 

I like the 2006 but cant find a reason to buy it over my stock one.

 

I found a reason why...cause it looks like all the other SRT's out there and it looks soo much better

But unless you have an '06 it will not match the dash or seats ....enough to make me not want to change.

 

I have an '05 badge to sell... I really want the bigger 06. Looks really good with the lettering off.

 

I like the '06 version better. It has that slant to it which implies speed - therefore, if you place it on your car it WILL go faster !!
Seriously, the '06 version looks better.

 

I have a 3rd choice. Physical size is the same as the stock '05 but spells out size and SUPERCHARGED

 

You could just find a real 06 like mine that already has the correct badging Needless to say, I like the 06 badge better. Maybe I could buy up the 05 badges for my car!

I like the '06 design(italisized lettering) and wish my seats and cluster was that style. I'm not a fan of running '05 or '06 emblem on the outside..............it just looks out of place.

 

Les, I always wondered- on the 06 model did they change the embroidery on the seats to match the italicized SRT6 logo text?

PS How in the world could ANYONE find the 05 (standard) badges better looking?!?!?!

 

yes, they did, i replaced everything on my SRT to the 06 style
