I have one of those weird '06s with the "new" font on the inside, but badged like an '05. I bought the '06 style badges with the plan of doing it up like the '06 it is, but then got lazy and just put them on the sides, but left the '05 on the back.
Also: I think I may have found another quirk with the '06s...It says in the manual that the driver's seat is 8-way, and the passenger is 4-way. Mine are both 8-way...other '06 owners, how bout you?

 

mine is '05 and driver 8-way/passenger 4-way. Would have liked the passenger 8-way so I could raise the seat up for my son.

 

You rebadged your '06 with '05 badges?

So does anyone have the '06 style that they want to get rid of? I could order from factory or ebay but $85 seems a bit high for just a decal. Maybe I am just stingy, but thanks hcarter for your help. I will get it out in the mail tomorrow, for I still need to pull it off my car, lol.

 

Look harder or be patient. I have seen them for between $55-75. The $75 was a Chrysler dealer in AZ selling them on Ebay.

Although, maybe with fewer dealers the price has gone up.

 

Inferno-nope, it is an 06 that cam badges like an 05. I put 06 style fender badges on, but left the 05 rear badge

 

OK. So looking at the photo in your gallery it came with the 2006 emblem on the "cdilas" and maybe back of seats but 2005 emblem on the exterior rear?

 

urm, if by "cdilas" you mean on the dials, then yes. And on the headrests, but not on the outside. Serial number is
'06, and it had a bin instead of cup holder.

 

Dials, yes. That's interesting information on the badging of your 2006 SRT-6.

 

guess that means there may be a few unknown '06s running around!
