i was cruising the m/b forums and saw a couple i/c for sale from the s/c v8 m/b amg engines. i was wondering if they would fit under the 3.2 s/c and maybe they would open up the bottleneck? anyway maybe someone more knowledgeable might have a thought

IMO, intercooler needs to be converted to a top mount like SLR. the current location is too hot.

just no room under my hood for that. i was wondering if the 5.5 i/c had bigger fins inside to allow more flow or if it would even fit

bigger s/c, so probably. ask one of the W211 M113k guys if they know the specs of the I/C. maybe there is a thread somewhere already written about the intercooler specs in the forum?
