SRT6 vs. Porshe GT3!
SRT6 vs. Porsche GT3!
I am not sure this was a “Kill”, but I was leaving Cars & Coffee this past Saturday morning and pulled out behind a white Porsche GT3. In normal fashion, there are dozens of people lining the side of the road near the exit waiting to catch a video of one of the Supercars taking off. This GT3 punches it right in front of me and although it sounded impressive, it did not look that fast. I caught up to him at the next light and inside are two middle age guys kind of smirking at me (both of us with the windows down), so of course I asked them if they had been embarrassed this morning by a Chrysler yet? They both chuckled and when the light changed we both took off! I pulled them by about a car and stayed that way until about 100mph when we both let off, then they immediately got into the left lane and turned away before we could speak at the next light. I was shocked that the GT3 was not quicker until I looked on dragtimes to see them running mid to low 12s. I have to admit that I had the advantage of not having a passenger, but the $100K difference in cars (still in my wallet)
should have weighed me down some……

Hey BLKFIN where is this Cars and Coffee? I will be back home to Garland from a deployment mid September and would love to go and check things out.
