Late to the party, but I really dig the satin black. Its subtle and just looks more badass (that's the technical term for it

As for the AMG thing; I don't think I'll go throwing any AMG badges on my SRT, but there is a legit claim to the AMG badges being there. As other have said, there are a LOT of straight-up AMG parts in the mix. The bottom line is this; its his car and his to do as he pleases. AMG badges? If you like it, go for it (especially the black one :-)

well, I like the MB's, always have, but I love my little step child as well...no need to bash either one...I don't think because someone wants to badge their car an AMG is crossing any lines here...produced in Germany for Chrysler, with many, many AMG parts... gives you the right to show off it's AMG connection. People, like us, who belong to cars forums, are car nuts, let's face it....we all here know the differenct...so badge away, the rest need to get a life...its no big deal...as a kid with a big block Camaro, I had a firebird hood scoop on it, 'cause I miss measured for a high rise intake, so I just added YENKO badges on either side of the scoop...did I get looks, no one was really sure....LOL>>>>

Pull the plastic engine cover and you'll see the AMG logo right on top of the engines Blower!
That sure the heck wasn't installed by a Chrysler employee.
There are far more AMG parts on the car than Chrysler!
Heck put Desoto on it if you like. maybe less clueless people would jump you for that one. Some parts houses have their after market parts mislabled because right in the book at Summit Racing it says Crossfire/AMG for one of the SRT aplications.
Anyone have a Desoto badge I could buy?
Mike

Oh wow I didn't know it was AMG

I've got an '06 here in Australia, as does Velociaabstract. seems we got a disproportionately high quantity of them. We bought them new this year, by the way. Theory is a bunch of '06s were sitting around somewhere forgotten about, and then got rediscovered!
Of course our ones have the steering wheels on a different side...

SRT-6's are all AMG on the inside.....................but have nothing to do with AMG on the outside. I switched my intake manifolds(and modified them) to the "AMG" design because that's what the engine is..................but I would NEVER put an "AMG" emblem on the outside of my car because it is not a true AMG car. I did however put a "hybrid" emblem off a Lexus GS450H in place of my "SRT-6" emblem on the hatch just to mess with people's minds as I blow past them on the street or at the strip.

Interesting point. Were all the final 06 models right hookers?

No. There are some US and Puerto Rico models w/LH drive.
