Looks like while they get us on the launch, we'd pass them before the 1/4 mile is up stock vs. stock.

1/4 mile: 13.2 @ 104

 

I've seen several SRT8s at the track- some stock, some modified. None of them have had 60ft times that bested mine nor ETs. As with any AWD drive-train they slow down after the launch.

Stock for stock I still think the 6 has the edge.

 

they have a faster 0-60, and higher top speed. It's only in the 1/4 they are a bit slower. They also pull amazing skidpan figures. I'd say they overall are 'faster'...
unfortunately, they are also Jeeps.

 

No i havent been to the track but ive had some fun with my accelerometer, i have only done the 1/4 three times with the device and got a pb of 12.79
I would be keen to take off a couple tenths at the track. I would be keen for the 27th just let me know the exact details closer to the time.
What is your best 1/4? Are you rev launching now it makes a massive difference..

Don't get me wrong I love the Jeep SRT8- I think they are badass "SUVs" (if that's what you want to call it). They do NOT have a faster 0-60. According to some postings they are dead even and others slightly slower.

Higher top speeds?! Where are you getting this info? lol They top out at 155mph. Regarding the skid pad they are pretty good considering the package it's in- however that's mostly attributed to the aggressive summer tires and awd. How about the slalom- where the SRT6 "matches EVOs' and Ferraris'? ~Motor Trend

If you think the Jeep is faster go trade your car in for one- then race some local buddies with SRT6. Even take the time to get a tune and intake/exhaust mods- you will be very disappointed. I've smoked every one I've come in contact with by a large margin.

where have you seen an SRT6 stock 0-60 time that beats the 4.6 in the link I posted, as tested by Road & Track ?

I would not trade my used, low-mileage SRT6 for a new Cherokee SRT8 (if I had to keep it), but stock vs. stock ... the Cherokee SRT8's top speed and 0-60, as tested by magazines, betters the SRT6.

 

I wouldn't trade either. Respect where it's due though-and thanks for the backup
