Default damn those pieces of tire debris

i was driving on the freeway with my gf on the way to the beach and as im switching lanes i notice may be a total of 15-20 pieces of tire scattered through all 5 lanes and of coarse my front tire runs over a piece and my lower front grill just flys off now i have no grill =(
so sad...and my mud flap is gone, well atleast i raced my friends 2009 porsche caymen type s stick shift that day and i beat it by just a little over half a car from a 30 mph roll =)

When you get lots of tire pieces all over the road that's called slalom practice.

Sorry about the car. That always sucks. My stepmom had almost the whole front right of her front end in her honda taken off when the car in front of her swerved really fast around a massive rolled up carpet, and it was too late for her. Amazing how much damage a rolled up rug can do at 70mph.

And it's a never ending cycle. Now someone is going to get a headlight busted when they run over your grill. Then someone pops a tire on their piece of headlight, then someone hits the tire..... etc.

Cyrus, sorry to hear the bad news. Small consolation but losing a lower grill has happened to many of us. Mine got knocked out twice.
I think they cost around $35.00.

Exactly which piece of grill is this? I'm looking at pictures and can't tell which piece looks like it would cost 35 bucks.

The grills right next to the fog lights.

I lost one of my grills when I went off course at the autox. That was the end for me, I have a single wire tie in the back of the bumper holding the snap in end to be sure that the thing wont fly off. the clip is not too solid, Woody

I thought about doing the same thing Woody, just never got around to doing it.
But the replacement grills seem to fit tighter than the originals did.
