I know some of you all do not look over in the coupe section so I thought I would post this over here. I saw one of their threads that said if you e-mail info@karmann.com and say something nice about them or the crossfire they would send you some stickers and badges. Skeptical, I did this thinking it might be a joke, and BAM an envelope in the mail about 2-3 weeks later with 2 karmann stickers and 2 nice little blue Karmann badges and a thank you card ( it was written in german so I don't know what it said ). I thought that was pretty cool !

 

HEY YOU ARE RIGHT I DID THE SAME THING AND THEY SENT THEM TO ME TO.THEY ARE SOME COOL BADGES AND STICKERS

 

Didnt Karmann just close their factory or file for bankruptcy? I know Chrysler did. Probably not good for us crossfire owners finding parts in the future.

 

Jeff another interesting note is I emailed Karmann with a question last year and received a response by way of a telephone call from Germany. I don't recall the guys name but he said they like to answer questions in person not by email. Nice customer service.

nope....its for real, just got mine...note and all....I don't think Karmann plant has shut down...they will tool back like everyone else, but I think they are solid...

 

I sent an email on april 8th and still nothing

 

They wrote me back and said they didn't have them available to send anymore.

 

cleaned them out I suppose, bummer...

 

SORRY TO HEAR THAT I HAVE A COUPLE OF THE SMALL KARMANN RED AND BLUE BADGES YOU CAN HAVE THEM IF YOU WANT. JUST SEND ME A PM.

 

I tried to score another set, They replied back to me and said they were out till Aug. 09. So if you want a set, hit them up early in Aug before they run out again. He did say most of them went to crossfire owners.
