its a pain in the *** but can you throw the limited wheels back on and test to see if it makes the noise cheaper than the 100 deductible

 

If you didn't hear it until now, it obviously has something to do with the new wheels. I'm still thinking it's the rear lugs. I had the same issue and knew right away what is was. I put it back on the lift and also didn't hear anything; however, when turning the rear wheels slowly, I could feel the lugs hitting. After inspecting the lugs, there were no signs of rubbing, but I still knew it was the issue. The springs give enough to not leave marks on the lugs. I ground about a 1/4 inch from each lug and put 'em back on. Good as new.

 

I agree with CGOCIFER. It could be just one bolt tip clipping a spring and you might not see it when looking at them. Take 1/8"(3mm) off each bolt and put them back on and see how she sounds.

Did you sell your stock wheels yet? I'm looking for 1 (or 2) rears...I hit a darned curb and got rash on one of mine. Let me know if you still have them please. I'm local to you (Mt Pleasant), so shipping wouldn't be necessary.

 

Get those calipers cleaned up and paint them looks good minus all the rust showing fromt he outer edges of the rotors and calipers

See I thought there are camber issues with lowering the car. Also changing the angle on all the components. I'm thinking it would easier and cheaper to just get a larger wheel maybe

Your right painted calipers should complete the look..!

Also I HATE that after a wash the rotors rust then it rubs off all over the wheel. I'm wondering if there is a product you can apply to the rotor to prevent this.

I should have updated my thread where i was selling my wheels. They actually were sold to a forum member a couple weeks ago

Might be cheaper to have them repaired?
