right in front of the passenger front wheel. There is a small square you can pop out in the inner fender to see it. I just removed the part of the inner fender and wheel to make it easier.

Both are easy, just depends if you want easier.
+1

I saved $115 and bought a ford lightning pump for $75 too.

you need to wire both the johnson and the lightning pump. the johnson pump only requires you drill 1 hole in the stock location and use the johnson bracket. no larger hoses are needed. factory hoses fit just fine. all is needed is new clamps.
as for the flow thec pump can only flow as much as the hoses and the h/e will allow. a larger h/e will drop the temps and allow the pump to work more effectivley.
the bosch flow 4.4 gpm and the cm30 flows 6.7 gpm
the MAIN reason for using the johnson cm30 over the bosch pump is longevity. the bosch has a proven history of lasting maybe 30k. call it the bosch or lightning pump its 75$ to $85. spend 149$ for the johnson pump and forget it. it will outlast the car

when i did my pump i simply used the same electrical connector from the factory pump and wired it to the johnson pump. no splices no cuts to the factory harness. plug and play

So I was saying how I thought my IC was bad... and I had no problem replacing it because I was going to at some time anyways...

It didn't work, so we replaced the IAT Sensor, didn't work...blah blah blah... its all written in this thread above...

None of it worked...

Today, I went to Eurocharged. They came up with the idea of a faulty Ambiant Temperature Sensor... So we removed it to see what the reading was. -36F.

This means the car thought it was really cold outside and dumped more fuel to the engine to keep it at the right temps...since it wasn't that cold, it caused the engine to heat up. Thus S/C disengaged.

So we disconnected it, reset the battery, and voila. Everything is working again.

Now I just need to figure out whether it is the sensor that went bad or the wiring is bad. Gotta figure it out.

Thanks to Jake, Andy, and Nazar at Eurocharged for all the help.

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH 32KRAZY! I too replaced my factory pump with the cm30 johnson pump! What a huge difference this made on the street, and expressway! I also did the the wiring mod (thanks oledoc) that keeps the pump running when the car is running! My car runs like its supposed too now!
