Sorry to hear that! I wish you the best with your mom! Like Faiz said, be with her. That is so much more important than worrying about our cars. We'll be here when you get back don't worry.

RIOT - that sounds good! You're on the replacement motor though, right? So wouldn't that be expected...?

Whenever convenient, can you please post your car's mods and mod-path you've taken? Did you buy your SRT-6 new? If not, was it stock when you got it? If not, what was done to it before? And, what's been done since (and when)?

If you choose to not share this, that's certainly your prerogative - but I think it would be useful for those of us who don't know about your car. And frankly, just a simple accounting of what mods and when they occurred can't be overly-sensitive information to share (I wouldn't think). The only post you seemed to somewhat answer this was this:

Yes I drive my car hard but before me this setup ran 10,000 miles before me on a LET car.

Oh and I was the first LET SRT6.

I'm a bit confused, however... are you saying that you took a used 185mm pulley kit (w/ 10k miles on it), and bolted it to your car and put another 10k on it? It sounded that way, but I didn't want to assume.

Also, I'm not contesting your other claim, but I could've sworn that the first LET SRT-6 was in TX? I thought I'd seen that posted somewhere.

Thanks again for sharing your motor-story with us, wouldn't be a fun situation to be in, and you really seem to be taking it in stride; look forward to finding out more as it develops.

Okay info. is coming soon....
Yes my 185 pulley was originally on Jerrys personal car before he went to the 191 pulley so it has alot of miles on it.
AND never has had a problem...as for dates hard to remember but mileage is real close to spot on.
Bought car used, stock with 21,000 miles Two New years eves ago.
Put 4000 miles on it stock.
Then was DYNO'd and tuned by LET
Put on a 1000 miles
Then put on Needswings CAI
Put on about a 1000 miles
Then changed plugs.heat exchanger
Put on about 500 miles
Put on 185 pulley and was tuned by LET
Multiple tuning sessions at the track and off track and over 10000 miles during all that.

Buy Needswings Mani's put them
on, put car on dyno,
Do some pulls...first one is strong the rest after that are bad........ real bad!

Same place where new manis leak is the same cylinder location where cylinders go bad.

Take it off the dyno.

Other company works on car to see if they can figure loss of power.

I show up take car for one pass with the car (cold)...come back and say yep something wrong.

Euro- works on car finds motor went boom.

There thats my cliff notes version....I will be posting at length my full version later....I believe EURO/JAKE will be posting photos and there version shortly.

.........

Wow, that is very alarming! many people have that same setup! was it the tune or was it the mani that caused it to lean out? I assume it did lean out? Hmmmm.

where the mani's leak you wouldn't go lean, you would run pig rich on those cylinders air is blowing out of the gasket loosing boost why you are fueling heavy, more then likely you melted/cracked the pistons from to much heat.

Ok, here are the pictures and I will follow this up with the data that we have captured. Im sorry it took so long, but its not a pretty scene, and we needed to be sure that we captured all the data and went through things throughly.
