My sincere condolences. I lost my father to prostrate cancer a couple of years ago. Thank you for posting here; you do have a community of friends that surely have you and your family in their thoughts and prayers.

Loving memories will eventually fill your heart and replace the pain you are feeling now. You are in my prayers; I am going to call and check on my Mom right now.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry Chris. My heart goes out to you and your family. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Thank you for the advice about keeping in touch with your mother and telling her you love her. I haven't been very close to my parents most of my life. Several years ago we almost lost my mom to a brain aneurism. I had no idea I was so attached to her as I wept uncontrollably when I saw her in the hospital bed. I will not take her for granted, thank you.

As many have said... You and your family are in our prayers. I lost my Father three and one half years ago and I look up to the Lord and say "Good morning Dad" most every day. There is comfort in faith. Hang in there and take care of the ones you love. Life is short and each day a blessing.

My tears flow with you my friend. It has just been 5 months that I lost my father, and it's still not any easier. Easter was very tough for me and don't look forward to father's day. Even as much as I love to race this car I've only managed to hit the track twice this year. Too many memories. You will have to be tough these next few days for your family. Then take some time off to mourn. I didn't I wanted to keep myself busy and not think about it. About 3 days after the burial my body basically went into shock from sheer exhaustion. Please take care of yourself first. If your father is still alive, comfort him all you can. You may find comfort like I did knowing they aren't suffering anymore and are pain free looking over you. She will be there when you get married, and she will be there when you have your first child. She will always be there for you. I still struggle and question God why? My prayers have changed to ask God please just help me understand your plan. I pray for peace over you and your family during this tough time. You look back on memories you forgot you had,
and at times you'll smile even though it hurts so bad.

Your mother is a special woman and no one can take her place,
you'll find a piece of mind when you remember her smiling face.

Your mother is an angel now she flies high above the rest,
and in your hearts always and forever she will be the best.

She has earned her wings and it's time for her to fly,
I know it hurts no one is ever ready to say good-bye.

She knows you do not understand and that you cry at night,
but as you finally drift of to sleep let her memory hold you tight.

She will be your guardian angel through the rest of your life, helping lead you on the path between what' wrong and right.

Your mother loves you so very much and her love will always remain true,
please don't ever think for a second that your mother will forget you.

A mothers love is like no other in the whole world,
she has the most wonderful memories of a little boy.

She has taken them with her as she's flown away,
up to Heaven free of pain which is her new home to stay.

So although you can not see her and you wish she could be there,
your mother can always hear you and your mother will always care.

A mother does not forget the greatest loves of her life,
and she loved nothing more than being your mommy, and your daddy's wife.

She is so proud of her family and that's in her heart to stay,
even though she's and angel and has had to fly away.

So as you cry your tears remember your mother's love,
being sent to you from her, from the beautiful Heaven above.

She will be there through your good times, she will be there through your bad,
she'll be there when you are happy, she'll be there when your sad.

Your mother has become and angel now, it is her time to fly,
and you will never know how bad it hurt me to watch you have to say good-bye.
