IF you want to go to the mat, get a good lawyer and own them. There some out there and asking around will find them. Guy oversprayed my truck, cost him 5000$, Drunk hit the mailbox and left = DWI and 1800$ Another person did not pay a bill, got court fees, a police record and 500$ for the lawyer - theirs plus paid me a bunch tooboot . Fat red head, claimed bankrupsey,did not pay, attached his bank account after he did not show in court and got a judgement, did not leave any in the account, made money. Kill the dog and eat their children if they wrong you, with-in the law of course. IF they threaten you, get a witness or three, get a peace bond and file a complaint, do it again, its hard time or draw down on them it time is short,.........




BTW did I tell you the mailbox weighed 300# AND HAD REBAR AND
DIAMOND PLATE AROUND IT, 4" steel post filled with concrete/rebar. Deflected a F350 from running into the creek, probably saved his but from drownding. Moved it after that. Let them swim or not............Woody

 

I have no intention of touching his car. That would just escalate things uselessly.
Inconsiderate and irresponsible they may be, but they do live in my neighborhood.

I did get to talk with the owner who denied everything until he was showed a bumper match and told that there were two witnesses. He then fessed up that his girlfriend had "run to the store" (I was on watch for 5 hrs, and she/they never returned), and he would ask her about it when she got home (he was at her place, not his just two blocks away). Even the friendly trooper who had to ask me if 7/8" was more than 1/2" could tell this was BS.

I'm fairly optimistic that this will resolve successfully, and I think the insurance companies can take it from here. I just have to hope that he was shook up enough and is bright enough to take this opportunity to keep Travelers off of his butt.

 

Jeff I am sorry to hear about your problems with your car but a least you know who did this to your car not like my wife who went out to her car Tuesday morning to go to work and it was sitting on blocks with all the wheels and tires gone.

No it was my wifes wanna be crossfire--------A sebring.

 

Hey I liked the 98 Sebring that I had. Still too bad, mine had alloy wheels, I bet they are expensive to replace.

 

She has a 2007 Sebring that has the straked hood and grill similar to the Crossfire.

 

I think I talked to you about it at the Dragon, my brother-in-law has one too. He is extremely not happy wih it, I am trying to talk him into an Xfire. I may bring him to Carlisle or the Fall Dragon, depending on the availability of his sister (my wife - LOL).
