I get 18.1psi with my 181 pulley....I was hitting 20psi before I installed the modded intake plenums.

Finally, some pics. All work looks good. The only thing I am disappointed with is they could not do anything with the throttle body or intercooler? So heads, y-pipe,entire supercharger, and intakes are all done.

That's some really clean work you had done there MD - top quality.

Did they tell you what type of oil was used in the SC or did they stick with OEM?

Thanks, they did not tell me what kind they used, I'll ask next time I talk to him.

Looks great, I think all that work would really shine with a bigger throttle body. I assume he couldnt do anything with it because of the mounting area on the supercharger being too small, or is there no room in the throttle body itself. We have 74mm stock right can we get 78mm??

I wanted to see how they would mod them, I have modded a set myself and it did not look nearly as good as theirs! I had about 8 welds to complete that turn and they only used one clean piece, very nice. I think the results on a dyno would be the same however this looks very professional. I bet you could get it done pretty cheap compared to other options that are out there. Since I paid $2800 for everything!

I agree, as you can see they did open up the back half of the throttle body outlet to s/c, just not the portion with the flap, so I'm hoping for some good air flow through there anyway.

That is much subtler than the 240 moded IM's. But I am happy and will likely have similar results. I wish I had all your other port and polishing too....

Yes it was Stiegemeier air flow in St. Charles Mo. All there work looks good, but a little lacking on communication ie.. no air flow print outs ( before or after ) no explanation of what they thought the results might be or what they actually did, No explanantion of why they didn't touch the throttle body or intercooler after requesting me to send it in.I Just paid them what the secretary said I owed when they were done and got the parts back in a box to figure it out myself.

Just thinking outloud here and please do correct me if i am wrong. Our supercharger are posive displacement so the air flow is fixed based on supercherger rpm and displacemnt. I can see a defective or worn out supercharger increasing cfm when rebuild or clearances tightened up.I don't know what the oem specs are but i am sure it's very small gaps maybe.0005" to .001" so not much air can leak by.You also have to keep in mind that the centripical forces increase as rpms increase so the rotor grows and tightens that way also. I expect that you may see some improvment over 20 psi vs stock. As far as ported heads and other clean up i expect that is where most of your new power will come from. a rebuilt super charger, ported heads and other stuff reworked for 3200.00 not to bad as far as cost. however $3200.00 could have bought a nice turbo or a eaton 1900 tvs.

I've read a dozen times, at least, that the supercharger is the obstacle to more power. I'm thrilled to see someone putting that to the test. Now it should be clear one way or the other. Way to go for it MD!

Thanks for the pics MD.

Looks like the silencing slots were left alone, as well as the inlet edges of the s/c. Have you installed the parts yet? Im not sure those moddified manifolds will clear the fuel rail.

And i dont see any throttle body in the pics.
