Default Made a few runs yesterday at Pittsburgh Raceway Park

it seemed like every other car that ran broke or leaked something all over the track lol.

fastest time:
1.79 60'
7.88@90.18
12.21@114.21

fastest mph:
1.8 60'
7.9@90.49
12.23@114.45

I ran faster on each run and my mph kept going up. I wish I could have ran more than 3 fkn times but i guess that is how it goes.

For those that want to know, the DA was 1876.

1st run (slowest)

launched easy to check traction

2nd run (2nd fastest)

launched a little harder to check traction

3rd run (fastest)

(Kept getting faster on each run, but thanks to the junkers breaking down, that was all the runs we got.) During my burnout the mop man walks out in front of me so I had to stop then restart my burnout. Good job mop man.

Left hom at 8am, made it back at 9:30pm.

Very consistent running. You'd be a beast in bracket racing

Your car also sounds very quiet, save for the jet-like intake. Do you have the stock resonator?

Nice runs man. You can tell everyone was very attentive when you were up to run.

Btw how is it at that track? They recently re-modeled everything and I've yet to make it up there. (20 mins away).

I remember they had a gravel road leading up to the track. Pissed me off. Hopefully they paved everything this time.

lol I drove in the old way (gravel) only to find the road was closed. I then drove up the wrong way on the in construction closed part of the highway to get to the new way in. It is paved but full of pot holes and crap so it is not much better.

The track is okay, just a lot of junkers like to race there that should not pass inspection. they break down and ruin everyones fun.

My fav yesterday was an old early 90's jacked up toyota redneck truck with mud tires that pulled up to stage, launched his beast and broke his driveshaft lmao.

idiots.

I emailed MT and they said I was running too much air, I had 26psi in the first 2 runs and 23psi on the 3rd run. he said to run 16 to 18psi then to do a burnout till you get a little smoke then stage.

I got the e.mail notification from dragtimes. On the fastest run you were spinning at the launch. I think you'll get 12 flat real soon with more practice with the new drag radials. Congrats!

Pull out of the waterbox a little more so your tires aren't sitting in the water as you are burning out. I always go about a foot more when the guy says "Stop", just to make sure im not in the water still. Notice there wasn't any smoke? Thats not a good thing. I think that is one of the reasons you spun on that last run. Good runs though and you definately have 12.0's in that setup.

I had 20 psi in my drags when I had my best times... You were definitely too high with the air pressure and you will for sure get below that 12.2 sometime soon. The consistency between all 3 runs is amazing!

We need to teach our fellow forum members to EDIT their drag times listing apposed to inputting another one. Kind of silly that most of the fastest posting are the same guys with the same cars!!

I always add all the info from my timeslips to keep a total record for myself and throw away the paper slips. So I guess it'll always send updates to everyone.

I like seeing the different times that the same people ran on there. I find it a useful tool to compare my times to.

BTW, here is the good ole boy with the muddy truck that broke his axel. Look at all the mud on the track behind him. Those idiots should not have allowed him on the track.

the pic does not show it well but he had mud all over his tires and the truck. (it was a s10 not a toyota, i just glanced at it and thought oh great here goes another 40+ minute track cleanup.)

Geeez that's just sad. Although I'm not surprised considering some of the areas surrounding I know what kind of people are going to be there.

Don't feel bad I went up the same gravel road before. Got totally lost. Haha Damn route 28

yeah it was part me/part the track. it was opening day for them so there was no rubber down yet. i was spinning in the water and did not get a good burnout, too much air in the tires, etc.

we have3 or 4 inches scheduled for here this week, it sucks.

i know the mid-west got well over a foot of snow last week if i remember correctly lol.

Thanks for the DA. That puts your run quicker than their's. They were sub 500' or negative. That's easily a tenth or more. Run the mop guy over that will teach him. He definately tells you to pull forward too soon. I do the dry hop thing after the burnout just in case there is still a little water on the tires. Great runs and a tenth gain is waiting for you. Does this track sell shirts? I want one.

thanks, my mph is high enough for a high 11 second run i think. it is nearly identical to distantpulses mph in both the 1/8 and 1/4 on his 11 second run. the only change from MIR are those wheels/drag radials.

yeah i screwed up my burnout big time lol.

yeah they sell shirts, at least they did last year. let me know if you want me to pick you up one the next time i am there. do you collect them from all the tracks?
