I'm a big Steelers fan and love everything Pittsburg. LOL. As long as your et and 60' are on par then your mph doesn't matter. It tells what power range your the strongest. After you get your launch dead on and your best et at favorable DA, then compare all 3 and mph probably will be down, but et and 60' will be the best. Your ecu loves the track keep feeding it. (Meaning your getting faster with each pass).

i run klotz octane booster to bring up the fuel to 98 octane and drove it all they way up on that to get the ecu used to it. I did the same at mir as well but i guess the car is more used to the tune now.

Does the klotz octane booster really bump the octane that high? That is friggin' awesome if that is the case...... I've read that when they say it ups the octane several points it is decimal points. Such as if you are using 93 octane and use a booster to increase it 5 points, it becomes 93.5 octane and not 98. I usually just put in a gallon of 100 before heading to the track.

yes, it is not that over the counter crap from autozone. klotz makes race fuel and octane booster like torco. you can call them and ask, it actually raises it by full numbers not by points like the autozone crap does. It is around $60/gallon shipped and each ounce raises the octane by 2.5 numbers (93 to 95.5 for example) up to 10 numbers.

Nice runs photoman! I wish I'd have known you were going, I'd have met you there. I've yet to run that track. I keep heading to Quaker City and Thompson. I'm planning to run this weekend at Quaker City unless we keep getting snow... ugh.

Does this mean I have to hand over my "Fastest SRT-6 in PA" title? Crap! :P

Nice times.................also nice to see someone else do half azz burnouts like me. lol. I run 18psi in the Hoosiers and always seem to let off before they smoke up the place enough. Next mod for me is a line lock.

big huge burnouts are not really necessary according to MT, mine were not big enough but huge ones only wear out your tires prematurely.

i think 18 or so psi is what i am going to run next time too.

Photoman,
I had my MT's at 21psi last Saturday and they launched great. I didnt do a big smokey burnout. Just maybe 4 seconds then let it spin and roll until it hopped. My 60's we 1.7 and 1.8. I only got 4 runs in with the crowd and the 3 hours sit for an oil spill.

I did get a 12.07 @ 114.89mph though...

That would be nice. It can't be good for the rear brakes to be doing burnouts all the time. Let us know how it works out.

that is great, what were the 60' times (1.7? and 1.8?), 1/8 mile time and mph and 1/4 mile?
