Re: rank this pic
Ricey??? really??? My perception of the car is very different. I feel like this is a sporty/classy car. WRX EVOS 200sx RX7 i think they are ricer. I think our bonnet is pure class and elegance, the curves side on are very nice as is the fenders. I think the xfire looks like $$$ Just my .2

I'm not trying to be a jerk but I work in the graphic design/photo/video field and am very discerning when it comes to imagery.

I await the expected reply of "Well, he did ask".

Taken in October 2007. Yeah, I know it's old... and yes, it was cloudy.

The XFire is hard to alter visually without ruining the whole, as with all good designs.
Sorry, as a contributor said earlier someone had to say ....you did ask.

The photo in question is a row of buildings sandwiched between a plane and a car, what is the subject? Not the buildings for sure, that leaves us two choices .... the car or the plane?
Great pictures hit you and you feel it, but sometimes you do not know why. This applies to all forms of visual arts.
But what the heck do I know anyway.
PS, If that was a certain Japanese plane in the photo, I would have to rate it a Zero.

J-Fire, I think your car looks modded, aggressively, but not ricey or gaudy. Well, everything except the grill. That thing has to go. That is just me though. I like the "Could have come from the factory" look. The factory wouldn't have allowed it to leave with an ill-fitted piece like the grill.

Lets not forget the badges. Badges in the engine bay, 3-4 on the rear, sides, interior. There is no doubt that if I had a car made out of badges, someone on here could show me where to mount another one.
I fact, there was a white base Crossfire at the dealership getting an oil change with a "Turbo" badge on it. I asked the owner what it was about. He said his "little son" had put in on.
Riiiight, his "little son" bought a turbo badge, then PERFECTLY mounted it on the rear of his car.....and he decided to just leave it.
The Crossfire does not have a timeless shape. I'd say it has more of a niche', or cult following. Not at all accepted in the mainstream.
The RX-7 on the other hand, has always been regarded as a beautiful vehicle. The 3rd gen RX-7's are stunning cars.
ANY car can be made ricey. Period.

Interiors of all colors. Did I mention chrome?
