Default New and clueless

Just signed up and having a wholesale auction buyer friend looking for me now for a SRT 6 roadster. I been reading up everything I can about them and Im sold! I do have a question though sounds kind of weird. I never have drove one or even got in one before. Im 6 ft and about 200 pounds.. Can I fit in one of these? Everyone is talking how small they are. I had a 95 Eclipse turbo once and could fit in that no problem. Im just a little worried about this one. I live in Abilene Texas and no car dealer has one for me to test drive. I know I will have to find one, but was just curious now if I can fit...:-) Any input would be appreciated!

It is small but you will not have major problems.
6'2 and weigh in more than you
Takes a while to get used to the gunslit side and rear windows - but you end up loving them.

I'm 5'10" and tip the scales at a bit higher number than yourself and cannot imagine that you'd have the slightest problem ... I know several guys larger than yourself who have experienced no difficulty whatever with theirs ...

=If you are living in metro area, just check your local used car lots for a Crossfire and comb you hair and ask em for a test drive. Craigslist.org always has a bunch listed. This will tell you if you fit or not be sure you drive one with power seats as the base coupe w/o power adjustment has seats that sit lower.

I'm 6' and 210 lbs, with a 34" inseam. I like to lean back when I'm driving and it took a bit to find that "sweet spot" for the seat adjustment, but now I can take a 6 hr road trip with no problems at all. I love the comfort of the seats and actually like them more than my wife's Passat. My head has at least 2" clearance with the top up ( but it is rarely up).

6'3 and 240 lbs here. it is tight, but comfortable

I bought my SRT-6 a month ago and got a lot of helpful advise on what to look for on this site. The first SRT-6 I drove was at a Chrysler dealer in Portland Oregon. I loved it and it ran nice and smooth and seemed to have enough get up and go...... Until I drove another one and was amazed with the power. I now realize the one at the Chrysler dealer had the common broken intercooler coolant pump. This was a car at a dealer and they didnt have a clue, but to be fair most salesmen have no idea what it should perform like. I know you wont be able to test drive a vehicle that is up at an auction, but suggest you drive one or two just to make sure you know how they should be expected to perform.

Plus if you get a roadster, they have more head room than coupe.
That is what I read.

Im 6'2" about 195. I fit fine, its snug, like a sports car, but there is plenty of room
I looked at a coupe first and the roadster I bought does indeed have more headroom. Something I am thankful for.

You get a lot more headroom with the top down, and visibility is much improved. I'm 5'6" and "she fits me".

Read all the manuals and stuff ...on the specs the Roadster has I think 3" more headroom.

Can't remember....

What are you now? lol

Darn I'm 5'11 at close to 290! Not not ALL fat- but not all muscle either- a mix of both.

If I'm able to get into the 11's I'll be the heaviest to do so! lol
