Took a few crappy pics
Took a few crappy pics
The weather was very nice today so I decided to cruise out to Red Rock for some photos. Unfortunately when I got home and looked at the pics I found that there's a spec of dirt on my damn lense that messed up the pics; ohh well.

Sorry, the crossfire grill is just ugly to me.

I painted the bare plastic part of the grille body color and shaved the front side marker light. I'm done with the front end until I get really bored and finally make the fake side vents into REAL side vents.

Very nice work. I love the way you rolled the edges around the hood inserts. Not only custom but factory. I'm sure the inside looks just as nice. The side strikes would be so fortunate to be complimented in the same way. You are truly talented.
BTW, off topic. I had a few buddies from the track tell me they seen a few crossfires at the mopar meet in LV. I assumed that's you and friends. How did you do? My buddy runner-up'd.

I didn't make it to MATS as my car was all masked up and sitting in the paint booth. I did however hear that there was a black SRT-6 running 13.7's............very sad. I tried everything I could to get my car done and ready in time but it just wasn't enough.

Ok guys Mike is being real modest here. It took me a while after staring at the pic how much custom work went into this project. First of all the donor hood is aluminum. Second he kept the cowl and added the center from the stock hood. Here's is a pic of the hood from the donor. Without this image it's hard to fathom the work to make this happen. Looks like we have a Chip Foose of Crossfires among us.
