'04? Audi RS6 vs SRT-6
On the way home today there was a silver 2004? RS6 sedan with metallic silver tinted windows behind me, he paced me, then passed me. We casually drove through traffic for about 5 miles until I had to exit to anothe freeway. He followed right behind me and when the exit ramp to the other freeway opened up I gave the go pedal a push from about 50 to 90. Very brisk and he followed. I slowed back down to 60 as did he, behind me.
A few moments later the 3 lanes opened up I see he wants to go from the left to the furthest right lane as it was all open there. I was thinking the same thing and figured id give him the chance to chase. Mash it down, and 60-125 came real quick, he chased but didnt gain I was a good 10+ cars infront at 125 and didnt see the need to keep goin, hit the brakes hard enough to get back down to the limit briskly and safely. He goes roar pass at 130+.
He is a 1/4 mile infront of me and I decide to follow. I catch up and he takes the first exit. He turned right into a neighborhood, I thought about following to see if he was going to the gas station to talk, but the better part of me figured I should take a left and get home quickly. No front plate and 100+ here = car impounded + $$$$ trouble.
Was fun, wish I had a chance to chat with the owner abit about his car. Im sure he was very suprised. I think from a stand still I would have been left in the dust...
Now to get that C3 pulley installed thats been in the garage since December.
BTW, Any police, the above story is fictional....

Me and my daughter had a little fun with a S5 few weeks back. I had stocks on and had no choice to just play fair. We met at a stop light and let the lady driver get a nice little jump and feel good about the payment on that car. I rolled to about 30mph and punched it and she was about 2 cars ahead, we flew by like the car was at a stop light. The only problem is our cars get to 90 so fast that there is not much room to play with. I have to say that in silver this car is beautiful and I would own one for what I paid for the SRT6. Not a penny more.

Depending upon year, the RS6 has a V8 or a V10. Speaking as the owner of a chipped A6 2.7T with a claimed 318hp, it is an extremely comfortable and stable car at high speeds, but it is not quick off the line or even from a roll. The darn thing has quattro and weighs almost two tons.

The 08/09 could have had a bi turbo 5.0 V10, the one I ran into was the older bi turbo V8 with about 450hp If I recall.
I tried to edit the title of the thread but it wouldnt let me. It was the 02-04 style.
