Question Code3 Intake Cleaning?

I am putting on my code3 pulley and Code3 intake today and have a question or 2.

The intake is used and I want to clean it before installing. Can I clean it just like a K@N?

Spray cleaner, wait 10 minutes, wash out, wait 20 minutes, Oil wait 10 minutes and install?

Also, Looking at the instructions from code3 on the pulley my air injection tubes do not look like the ones in the picture, do I have to completely remove them or can I just take the top bolt off and try to twist them out of the way?

Thanks,
Mike

I would assume you can clean it the same way other intakes are being cleaned.

it needs to be almost fully dry before you oil it AND you need to wait more than 10 minutes after applying oil. i waited a day

Yes, it really needs to sit for awhile since it is that much closeer to the throttle body...We don't want to see any kind of oily residue getting in there.
