private rental, will most likely get more runs in then you want, i drove 10 hours last year for 2 runs at MIR and liz got 1 run, come do 25 passes with us here and hang our with other srt owners in ohio.

this track rental is not run by srtforums, as far as i know aaron set it up from realtune performance (srt-4 neons and calibers)

 

there is actually a kick *** track rental by the local BMW and mercedes guys at MIR twice a year, and the big boys show up!! Nissan GTR's, V12 AMG's, 10 second Bimmers and porsches vettes and ford GT, etc

its definitely$100 per car when they do it but thats what the track charges them and it is only on weekdays!! guess when your that rich you can take a day off to go racing. jhaha

 

Aw, crap. I just checked my calendar, and I can't make it that weekend.

 

MIR is one of the fastest tracks in the country, this event is in May when the temps are still low and the altitude at this track is near sea level. It sounds like a better option to run here on may 3 instead of waiting till the temps are high and running a track at a higher altitude.

I keep hearing that, but I ALWAYS run faster at Richmond and Piedmont. MIR has been kinda slow the last year or so.

 

I will have to give those tracks a try one day.

Does anyone know if MIR has free wireless internet access?

 

I dont know but i can check its right down the road!!

Also, I can use my phone as a tethered modem via USB cable (EVDO Rev A on Sprint = good speed)

Guys, I spoke with Inmotion and will be offering tunes during the event if there is enough interest. Just shoot me a PM if you are interested.

I will post up the details when I make it home this weekend. I am off to huntington tonight then pittsburgh on satuday.

 

I really was probably not going to make it, but if InMotion is there tuning, i'm in.

 

I hope to make it again this year, just waiting on my supercharger to get back from it's little trip to the performance shop I'll let you know if I can make it soon, thanks for putting this together again mrphotoman !
