Default My new SRT-6 (pics)

I feel like a kid with a new toy, Picked up my SRT-6 today. Its in showroom condition. Wish it had the original wheels, these are a little to Bling for my taste. Turns out the previous owner did some modifications. It has a chip, exhauste and a modified air intake that says "NEEDSWINGS" Im new to to Crossfires and never heard of this aftermarket CO. before. Going to have to do some research. One thing for sure, it sure is fast!

from the looks of the bearing (color) on the pulley, it may have a Code3 pulley as well...

Hmm, with these modifications, I suspect the 7 year / 115,000 km warranty that came with the wont be much good, which is to bad because there is only 50,00 km on it

The dealer will never notice the pulley or chip. I don't think they will give you any hassle about the intake, my dealer has never said anything to me about it.

With those wheels on there I don't think the old owner is gonna raise his hand.

Good thing is.................wheels are easily unbolted and changed.

PS: check the for sale section as there is a kick *** set of OEMs with some fat rubber up for sale.

Congrats on your new SRT-6 and welcome to the forum! If you have the time, look through this thread and see if the car & previous owner were featured. If they were, you can do a search of the owner and maybe learn more about the history of the car.

The previous owner of that car most likely was on here because he has some very common crosfireforum mods including the SRT6 badge above the strakes. Wheels have to go man, but welcome! I'd sell you mine, but I'm keepin' 'em.

We are keeping track of SN's of SRT's. Are we or did we keep track of owners?

You might be able to look through the list of serial numbers and get lucky. You know he is from up north.

I have the dealer trying to track him down as well. If anything I would like to find out where the original wheels are . Even though the original arent the most beautiful thing either, they are better than bright chrome.
Would like to find some like Cgocifer, they look classy

More than likely he sold the OEM wheels. Maybe he posted them for sale here.

Wow...Nice! I actually like those wheels on her and would trade you straight up for my stockers if you lived down here...At least you can't get a better intake as the Needswings.... Congrats and enjoy the ride...

Congrats on the car, really decent that you have mods. I agree about the rims get rid of them when you can. Do you think dealers will notice aftermarket pulleys? Where im from I dont foresee many mecanics dealing with srts or having much knowlege about them. I have a 3yr warranty and im itching to get a pulley

Welcome to the forum. I did not have your VIN listed in the database so the name of the previous owner wont be in any of the post. Enjoy the car.
