Anyone Purchase Code3's Spearco Intercooler?
Re: Anyone Purchase Code3's Spearco Intercooler?
I did back when they first came out. I waited over 3 months for delivery. When the final product was released, the fitment was horrible and came with a multipage document that describes how to fix the product. Even with that I needed to spend $ getting it re-welded.
Overall there were no performance gains, and very minimal cooling gains. If I were to do it over again I would have gone stock.

well, they claim to have resolved the original issues, but i certainly have not been hearing good things about Code3 on here.
it's just that upgrading the intercooler SHOULD make perfect sense as an upgrade! i suppose the 'placement' of the intercooler is more of the problem than the size or efficiency. i wonder why AMG didn't figure out a better solution.
with their checkered order history, i think i will contact them and make sure it is even 'available' before ordering!
i plan on upgrading the intercooler as well as installing the intercooler reservoir, and transferring the battery to the trunk. the supercooler seems to be giving me consistent runs, but by looking at the temp needle inside the car and feeling the underhood heat, this car could be running a lot more efficiently.

Their split cooling or bryan braves split cooling design was a much better use of the mod $.
