Just like an end of season cliff hanger on the tube. Again great video, waiting for part 2. Thanks for sharing.

Running both pulley's you're still going to need bigger injectors.

You may be right, but I am going to test it out. After talking with Rob, James from InMotion has done the same thing im trying to do with success and I believe he did not change anything in the fuel system other than the tuning. My meth is not working right now (wiring issue), but when I do get it working, I expect it to get richer.....How much? I'm not sure, but it will get richer. My hope is that it gets about a 1.5 to 2 richer that way when I add the SC pulley, we will be up in the area of where we could dial it in. Again, this is all a test at this point so.......

I hope it works for you, but I was under the impression that Dave Rockwell who posted "this is how I got power" on the forum was already running the meth kit and was still lean.

Remember that the SRT6 injectors are quite large to begin with. They may be able to get the richer run by tuning alone. The injectors should be good up to about 400 HP without 100% duty cycling at red line if I remember right.

Anyone else remember what thread that was where someone figured out the maximum duty cycle on both the base/Limited and SRT6 injectors?

They can't my set-up and at 5300 rpm's I'm out of fuel and that was with Wayne from LETdyno tuning in person. Chris is running a 178 and Code3 combo more boost probably 4 lbs. Chris will let us know.

Not trying to insult Wayne, but I'd like to know was he altering the fuel map specifically, or did he just flash a different car's 'bin' onto your ECU?

I only ask, because unless someone actually has the ability to alter the fuel map and pulse width then it's just a shot in the dark hack to me.

Dyno tuning in the loosest terms. They re-flash your ECU until they get the highest numbers they can on the dyno. Here's the rub... if they just use stock or pre-made ECU bin files, then it's just finding the best of the lot, not actually 'Tuning' anything.

This has been my biggest issue with 'tuning' over the years. I've seen people drop big dollars for what is, for all intents and purposes, a simple reflash. They ended up paying through the nose for someone to go through a bunch and find the best one and not really ever 'tune' the car.

[/rant]

Again, I'm not trying to insult those that dyno tune cars, I realize it is work and the software to really get into these ECUs is REALLY expensive. But I hate the terminology that's... well, just not accurate.

I'm pretty sure they are adjusting pulse width and duration, they have the calibration charts up on the screen and make adjustments through the rpm range, that is why they needed to stop at a certain duty cycle.

I have made multiple 10 sec. 1/4 mile passes( see dragtimes.com for one of them, plus there was atleast ten members there watching), never went lean on stock injectors/pump. I won't argue what hp it takes to do this as some here dispute the numbers, but about 550hp @ the flywheel based on the cars weight with me in it (from my research/previous dyno's). So why is everybody running so lean??? My Inmotion tune with a small piggy back kept me within 11.8-12.7 or so.....I was running N2O, but having said that, it still requires extra fuel to support it. Based on that I think the injectors and pump are more that capable of handling what you guys are throwing at it. It must be the tuning ?!? My other thought is you may be running lean on the dyno and not at the track, dyno's are a pretty weird environment for a car, I think everyone should try there cars out on the track before completely trusting the dyno numbers. Get a wideband and go to the track!

What Jets wear you running, specifically the fuel jet. Just curious, not doubting.

NX pro fogger with 62-n2o & 35-fuel, which = 150 shot.

lol, I thought I'd put a little ode to your handy work in there. I need to order a set but want them painted to match the stock a-pillar color. Is that possible?
