Another VIDEO (Chris's Meth Kit Install)
Another vid for you guys. This one was a mix of shots from my standard Canon XH-A1 and the 5D mkII DSLR. Enjoy...

My hope is that it gets about a 1.5 to 2 richer that way when I add the SC pulley, we will be up in the area of where we could dial it in. Again, this is all a test at this point so.......
Re: Another VIDEO (Chris's Meth Kit Install)
Remember that the SRT6 injectors are quite large to begin with. They may be able to get the richer run by tuning alone. The injectors should be good up to about 400 HP without 100% duty cycling at red line if I remember right.
Anyone else remember what thread that was where someone figured out the maximum duty cycle on both the base/Limited and SRT6 injectors?

I only ask, because unless someone actually has the ability to alter the fuel map and pulse width then it's just a shot in the dark hack to me.
Dyno tuning in the loosest terms. They re-flash your ECU until they get the highest numbers they can on the dyno. Here's the rub... if they just use stock or pre-made ECU bin files, then it's just finding the best of the lot, not actually 'Tuning' anything.
This has been my biggest issue with 'tuning' over the years. I've seen people drop big dollars for what is, for all intents and purposes, a simple reflash. They ended up paying through the nose for someone to go through a bunch and find the best one and not really ever 'tune' the car.

Again, I'm not trying to insult those that dyno tune cars, I realize it is work and the software to really get into these ECUs is REALLY expensive. But I hate the terminology that's... well, just not accurate.
Re: Another VIDEO (Chris's Meth Kit Install)
I'm pretty sure they are adjusting pulse width and duration, they have the calibration charts up on the screen and make adjustments through the rpm range, that is why they needed to stop at a certain duty cycle.

Re: Another VIDEO (Chris's Meth Kit Install)
I have made multiple 10 sec. 1/4 mile passes( see dragtimes.com for one of them, plus there was atleast ten members there watching), never went lean on stock injectors/pump. I won't argue what hp it takes to do this as some here dispute the numbers, but about 550hp @ the flywheel based on the cars weight with me in it (from my research/previous dyno's). So why is everybody running so lean??? My Inmotion tune with a small piggy back kept me within 11.8-12.7 or so.....I was running N2O, but having said that, it still requires extra fuel to support it. Based on that I think the injectors and pump are more that capable of handling what you guys are throwing at it. It must be the tuning ?!? My other thought is you may be running lean on the dyno and not at the track, dyno's are a pretty weird environment for a car, I think everyone should try there cars out on the track before completely trusting the dyno numbers. Get a wideband and go to the track!

What Jets wear you running, specifically the fuel jet. Just curious, not doubting.

Check out this thread, Tach. You think the "red SRT-4 with full parachute" was anyone you know? haha

lol, I thought I'd put a little ode to your handy work in there. I need to order a set but want them painted to match the stock a-pillar color. Is that possible?
