Re: Another VIDEO (Chris's Meth Kit Install)
i never got to run it after i increased the boost to 11psi, i ran a 13.2@105 with 8psi. it was a super reliable car even with all the mods on it.

Oh Boy Oh boy
If I say somethumkin Iam going to geta woopin.
What the heil, I strongly suggest and recommend injection be on the pressurized side of the intercooloer. It is the only place from a thermodynamics perspective. Really.
Adding the spray before the s/c will do many things that you do not want!!!
First cooling the charge is the most serious: As the material evaporates and changes state the inlet air is cooled. This is BAD cause it lowers the air temp entering the intercooler which reduces its efficiency, the IC is trying to gain heat taking it from the air. Cooler air is harder to cool than hotter air.
The material added also will retain some of the heat of compression and add to the density of the air lowering its temp. Again harder to cool. ALSO the material sprayed in dilutes the oxygen charge entering the engine especially as it expands upon evaporating, bad bad....
The SC will have to pump the material adding to its work load, remember were dealing with 10,000 plus rpm here.
If the pressurized spray is added to the wye for instance, it further cools the charge entering the intake manifolds which is GOOD. The charge is pressurized and adding fuel / water now will not reduce the O2 content much.
The spray could be done at the manifolds as long as it is balanced WELL and is not favoring one cyclinder or side over that of another.
I have run water injection before and will possibly do it again, and offer these thoughts for your benefit and consideration.

The biggest alky injection company says it is safe:
http://www.alcohol-injection.com/for...-6-a-1586.html
bikecop tapped the manifolds and it had the same effect as your Y tap, basically just increased the a/f ratio.
also, are you spraying alky/water all over your air temp sensor in the Y?

Help mymemory, what do you have for a HE, that water is important to keep it cool.
While racing for about 60 seconds in first at 6000, my engine shut down on high heat and it was ugly, killing my crank key -pully etc.
This is why I became a cooling dude. Now Iam, free of that and I ran stacked until I started hitting like 25 psi at the manifolds.

Gotta stay away from the sensor, thermal shock and all of that plus water could affect the sensor readings making it seem different than real.
2 nozzels on the pipes would be a good start I believe.
For that Id use the manifolds at the inlet, you can get to them, change them easily, yadda yadda. Putting in a threaded mount there would be reasonable. THe wye is so under there and the sensor is big time important, so Id not wanna get into that area but maybe once in any case.

PS How much was the SC kit for it? Supporting mods?

Roots supercharger kit: $1900 new
supercharger pulley: $100
Crank pulley: $105 (custom made even!)
fuel tuner: $300
CAI: $160
Those were the main mods, i have a laundry list of them though. Here is some pics of it: https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...hlight=tiburon
Of course the new genesis coupe is 1000x better though.
