Are you looking for the gauge bezels to be the same color as the pillar?

I actually ran last night. Unfortunately, the results were not good! with the stacked pulleys + the 50/50 water meth, car was still way too lean. I was seeing 16 A/F and I could tell it wasn't pulling. The car went 12.49@109.98. I ended up switching back to the stock pulley + running the meth and the car ran what it was running before. I spun really bad 2.07 60ft and ran a 12.71@113.78. I figured it would have been on a 12.1 pass if it hooked. Also my IAT's were super high! 186 (stacked) then the weather got colder, but still saw 145 with just the meth! So right now I have to believe, either I have the nozzle in the wrong place, or it's just not affecting the IAT's?! I need a little help here

Wow that sucks I was hoping it would all work out. What was the ambient temp out there? It was 75-80 the other day when I was out there. I packed my 1 gallon tank, for the IC, full of ice and my intake temps peaked 127. The ice works but it doesn't last long. I was hoping this meth thing would work better. My friend swears by it on his GN but so far it doesn't seem to be working for those with the SRT6?
Could you possibly add some ice to your meth tank to cool it down before it sprays?

Hey dp -

Why would methanol injection change your AFR?

Methanol's stoich reading on nernst cells is vastly different from gasoline, and meth/water is not fuel.

meth/water doesn't reduce IAT, it reduces the speed of the ignition flame front.

Add ice to the tank? Interesting. Never thought to do that, but I guess you could. I would need to freeze some distilled water though. LOL

See how little I know about this shyt!? Lmao Ok, so how would I make this setup work the way it should? I obviously need it tuned with more fuel. I'm still seeing lean conditions with stock pulley in cool air....

unless your nozzle is installed pre-supercharger the meth will have no effect other than giving you a higher octane and a richer a/f ratio.

Yeah that is what I was saying, it needs to be in the CAI.

Last year I spoke to both Devils own injection staff and Snow performance and they both said it was safe, they said any supercharger made within the last 10 years has alcohol safe coatings on them. They said that it is safer on the blades than spraying nitrous.

Grrrr!! Ok, so that makes sense to me, but where do you tap in at? I can't tap into the rubber elbow?

the rubber elbow is a good place (if the elbow is fairly thick), go to lowes and get you a nice "o" ring gasket (it has a groove in it and a lip on the top and bottom to hold it in place and to seal the hole), drill the hole and insert the gasket ( i use a little gasket maker to make sure it stays there and seals) and the nozzle will actually screw in place. just take your nozzle to lowes with you and dig through them until you find one that is so tight that you have to screw in the nozzle. it works great, that is what i have used on past cars and it never caused any issues or boost leaks at all. the bonus is all you have to do is replace your rubber elbow when you go to sell the car and the parts. just make sure the elbow on your intake is not a cheapie that is really thin, if that is the case just drill into the intake as close as possible. that supercharger will suck that meth right in there with no problem.

if you need a photo of the gasket I am talking about I can take one in a few days. if i can not find one of my old ones i will go buy one to show you.

i would call devils own and aem and talk to the experts though. i bet they reccomend that it is pre-supercharger.

Here is the last kit I had, it was in the CAI, i thought i had it in the coupler but i guess i remembered wrong. The o ring gasket is in the intake, it made it really quick to change the nozzles while i was tuning the car.

Here are a few pics while I was installing it:

I think the term Mr. Photoman was looking for was grommet. A rubber grommet is what you need. It's what a wire usually is protected by when passing through metal, like on you firewall. I have always seen the meth/water mix sprayed before the supercharger also.

Ok, that is what I was thinking, but wasn't sure. Now that makes more sense.
